Key Insights
Advantages of Local File Systems
Storing notes in Obsidian (.md files) allows AI like Claude Code to index them easily. This makes it simpler for the AI to find context without you having to copy-paste long chunks of text into the chat.
Scaling with Systems
To scale content production, you need to build well-documented systems. When you have clear templates and style guides, AI can handle technical tasks with higher accuracy, freeing you from manual work.
Tool Selection
Cursor is generally faster (faster response) compared to Claude Code for tasks involving direct file editing within project folders.

Script-to-Storyboard Transformation
Target:
Claude Code / Cursor
I want you to turn my script in [file_name_script.md] into a storyboard. Please use the structure provided in [file_name_template.md]. Also, ensure the visual descriptions follow my [file_name_style_guide.md]. Output the result as a Markdown table.
Step by Step
AI-Powered Script-to-Storyboard Automation Workflow
- Open Obsidian and ensure all your video scripts and storyboard templates are saved in Markdown (.md) format.
- Prepare a 'Style Guide' file (e.g., CapCut Style Guide) that contains specific instructions on how you edit your videos.
- Open the Cursor app or run Claude Code within your Obsidian directory (vault).
- Use the 'Index' or 'Add Context' feature in Cursor/Claude Code to allow the AI to read your script, template, and style guide files.
- Type a prompt in the AI chat panel to instruct the AI to convert the script into a storyboard format (refer to the Prompt Card).
- Wait for the AI to generate the output as a table or your specified format.
- Review the generated storyboard and click 'Apply' or 'Save' to insert the table directly into your Obsidian file.
