Phase 1: Building your Knowledge Base in NotebookLM

1. Open NotebookLM in your web browser.
2. Click the 'New Notebook' button and name it 'Business Knowledge Base'.
3. Upload documents defining your business operations to the 'Sources' section.
4. Ensure the uploaded documents include: Case Studies (with Client Type, Scope, and Results info), Service Descriptions, and Pricing Structure.
5. Use NotebookLM to summarize this information into a single, comprehensive 'Reference Doc'.
6. Save or export the 'Reference Doc' to your Google Drive with a specific name (e.g., 'Master Business Knowledge Base').

Phase 2: Configuring Gemini Gems & Generating Proposals in Google Docs

1. Open Google Gemini and navigate to the 'Gems' section.
2. Click 'Create a Gem' and name it 'Proposal Writer'.
3. Enter detailed instructions for the Gem (refer to the Prompt Card).
4. Click 'Save' to store your Gem.
5. Open a new Google Doc.
6. Click the Gemini icon (star icon) at the top or right side of the document.
7. Ensure 'Google Drive Search' is enabled in the Gemini Extensions menu.
8. Select the 'Proposal Writer' Gem you just created.
9. Enter a brief description of the new project (Client type, Budget, Timeline, Key concerns).
10. Press 'Enter', and Gemini will pull data from Google Drive to automatically generate a complete proposal.
