Mandatory Canvas Requirement
If you don't enable the 'Canvas' tool before sending your prompt, Gemini will only provide a standard text response instead of an editable presentation file.
Brand Consistency (Branding)
To ensure results are 'on-brand', make sure to attach a 'Style Guide' containing HEX color codes and font names. Gemini is capable of reading this document to automatically adapt the slide theme.
Benefits of Exporting to Google Slides
After clicking 'Export to Slides', all slide elements (text, charts, images) are 'fully editable'. You can modify table data or update graphics directly in Google Slides without having to regenerate them in Gemini.

Master Presentation Template & Data Prompt
Target:
Gemini
Create a presentation, 10 slides that tells the story of our quarter. What worked, what didn't, and where should we double down in Q1 2026? I've attached our Q4 marketing performance data. Include a visual style guide covering the fonts, the primary, secondary, and the text colors, the background color, what shapes, images, and charts we should use.
