Step by Step
Generating a Presentation from Text with the Gemini Model
- Go to the Gamma website and log in to your account.
- Select the **Paste Text** (or 'Paste raw text') option from the main menu to get started.
- Paste your notes, raw data, or outline into the provided input field.
- Review the card structure automatically generated by Gamma—you don't need to split them manually.
- Adjust the 'density' settings if you want more or less information on each slide.
- Open the Image Settings menu before clicking the generate button.
- Select **Gemini 3 Pro** (or Nano Banana Pro) as the AI model for image generation.
- Click the **Generate** button and wait while Gamma builds the slides and generates images in real-time.
Editing with the AI Agent & Exporting Files
- Once the presentation is generated, click the **Gamma Agent** (AI Agent) button on the interface.
- Enter a text prompt for the changes you want (e.g., change the visual style) into the agent's chat box.
- Allow the AI to perform automatic edits across all the slides.
- Once you are satisfied, click the **Share** or **Export** menu at the top right.
- Choose your desired output format, whether it's **PDF**, **PowerPoint**, or a **Website** link.
- Save the file to your computer.
