The Advantage of Full Context
Giving the AI access to your calendar alone isn't enough. By loading 'Full Context' through daily notes, the AI can make smarter decisions about what should or shouldn't be on your schedule based on the actual topics you are currently working on.
Using Confidence Markers
Always provide a confidence rating for your ideas or projects (e.g., 'I feel very solid about this idea' vs 'I'm still hesitant'). This helps the AI perform 'daily operations' more effectively during the `/close day` process.
Step by Step
Launching AI Workflows with Slash Commands
- Open the Obsidian app on your computer.
- Access the integrated terminal within Obsidian (or use an external terminal if you prefer).
- Type the command `/context` to start loading information. The AI will begin reading README files, daily notes, and backlinks to build a complete picture of your work and life status.
- Wait for the AI to finish processing files like 'workflow context' and 'media company context' before moving to the next step.
- Type the command `/today` in the morning to perform a 'Morning Review'. The AI will pull data from your calendar, task lists, iMessage, and daily notes from the previous week.
- Review the daily plan prioritized by the AI based on the data retrieved.
- Use the command `/close day` at the end of the day to process the 'End of Day' routine, where the AI will extract action items and check 'confidence markers'.
- Update the confidence rating on your hypotheses or project ideas so the AI can track the project's progress.
