Step by Step
Steps to Extract System Prompts from Custom GPTs
- Open ChatGPT on your web browser or app.
- Navigate to the 'Explore GPTs' section or select an existing Custom GPT from your left sidebar.
- Click on the GPT you want to analyze to open the 'Chat Interface'.
- Copy the specific prompt for 'System Prompt Extraction' (refer to the Prompt Card).
- Paste the prompt into the message input box of that GPT.
- Press 'Enter' or click the 'Send' button to submit the command.
- Wait for the GPT to display its internal instructions and the list of 'Knowledge' files used by its creator.
