Silent Logging Feature
Lindy doesn't necessarily have to reply to every message in the group chat. It can be configured to simply monitor and record data to a spreadsheet without interrupting the conversation flow between you and your staff.
Benefits of EA Access to Lindy
By giving your Executive Assistant (EA) access to Lindy, your staff can 'train' or correct the AI's actions, making hybrid collaboration much more efficient.
Casual/Social Use
Beyond work, Lindy can also be added to group chats with friends to provide spontaneous responses or chime in with helpful information whenever needed.
Step by Step
How to Set Up a Hybrid Group Chat (AI + Real Staff)
- Visit the Lindy.ai website and sign up for accounts for both you and your Executive Assistant (EA).
- Grant your EA access to your Lindy account so they can manage the AI Assistant on your behalf.
- Open your preferred messaging app (such as iMessage) and create a new Group Chat.
- Add the Lindy AI phone number or ID, as well as your EA, into the same Group Chat.
- Start the conversation by sending tasks or requests directly to your EA within the group.
- Let Lindy act as a passive observer in the background of the messages.
- Connect Lindy to a Spreadsheet application (like Google Sheets) via the integration settings in the Lindy dashboard.
- Regularly check your Spreadsheet to ensure Lindy has automatically logged every request and task status based on the chat conversation.
