Key Insights
Do Not Disturb Mouse Input
Avoid moving your mouse or using the keyboard while Claude is working (indicated by the red border). Doing so can interfere with the AI's coordination and cause errors in the subsequent steps.
Visual Overlay Interference
Close any 'pointer highlighter' apps or other screen overlays. The AI uses screenshots to 'see,' so extra visual elements can confuse Claude when it tries to identify buttons or files.
Cluttered Desktop Issues
If your Desktop is cluttered with too many files, Claude might take longer to find the correct one. Ensure the filename is unique and keep your Desktop organized for faster performance.

Claude Computer Use
Open an app for me called Adobe Premiere. Create a new project called Claude Demo. Then find a file on my computer called 'claude computer use demo' which is a name of a video file of a screen recording I did and saved to my desktop and import that into the premiere project.

- When the system asks for Permission, click 'Allow' to give Claude Full Control over Adobe Premiere Pro and Finder.
- Stop moving your mouse and let Claude take over (the screen border will turn red).
- Claude will automatically locate and click the 'New Project' button.
- Claude will type the new project name (e.g., 'Claude Demo') into the 'Project Name' field.
- Claude will open Finder to search for the specific file mentioned in your prompt (e.g., 'claude computer use demo' on the Desktop).
- Once the file is found, Claude will 'Import' the file into the Premiere Pro project.
- Claude will automatically drag the video file from the 'Project' panel into the 'Timeline'.
