How to Generate an Audio Overview (Podcast) in NotebookLM

  1. Open the NotebookLM website and log in to your Google account.
  2. Click the 'New Notebook' button to create a new workspace.
  3. In the left sidebar, click the 'Add source' button (+ icon) to upload your documents.
  4. Select your document source (PDF, Google Docs, or manual text copy). You can add up to 50 sources.
  5. Wait for the 'Source grounding' process to finish to ensure the AI has fully processed the documents.
  6. Click on the 'Notebook guide' tab located at the bottom right of the screen.
