How to Generate a Slide Deck in NotebookLM

1. Upload your research documents into NotebookLM as the primary source.
2. Navigate to the 'Studio' panel located on the right side of the screen.

4. Click the 'Edit' button (pencil icon) to enter specific instructions for the AI.
5. Enter a prompt specifying the number of slides, target audience, and the main content focus (e.g., competitor analysis).
6. Press 'Enter' or click the generate button to start the slide creation process.

How to Generate Infographics and Video Overviews

1. Return to the 'Studio' panel for the next steps.
2. Click the 'Edit' button in the 'Infographic' section.
3. Enter a specific prompt for the infographic layout (e.g., side-by-side layout) into the provided prompt box.
4. Click 'Video overview' in the 'Studio' panel if you need a narrative summary.
5. Wait for NotebookLM to process the video, which automatically features AI hosts discussing the research findings along with relevant visuals.
