How to Use Notion AI for Notes & Proposals

1. Open any blank page or meeting notes in Notion.
2. Press the 'Space' bar on your keyboard on a new line to activate Notion AI.
3. Type specific commands like 'Summarize these meeting notes' or 'Extract action items' to process existing text.
4. To write a proposal, enter the command 'Write a proposal' and reference existing company format pages or documents.
5. Use the AI search function to find additional information from connected apps like Slack or Google Drive.

Building AI Blocks for Team Use

1. Type the '/' symbol on a Notion page to open the block menu.
2. Search for and select 'Custom AI Block' or 'AI Prompt' from the list.
3. Enter prompts frequently used by your team (e.g., a prompt to summarize meeting minutes) into the block configuration.
4. Click 'Save' to set the block on the page.
5. Click the generate button on the block whenever you need to run the same prompt without retyping it.
