Step by Step
Text-Based Video Editing in Descript
- Upload your video recording file into Descript.
- Wait for the AI to automatically finish transcribing the video into text.
- Identify the parts of the video you want to remove (such as dead air or script errors) through the text view.
- Highlight those specific words or gaps using your cursor.
- Press 'Delete' or 'Backspace' on your keyboard to automatically cut those sections from the video.
Fixing Eye Gaze with AI Eye Contact
- Open the video project you wish to edit.
- Click on the 'Underlord' tab located in the right-hand panel.
- Find and select the 'Eye Contact' feature from the list of available AI options.
- Wait for the AI to process the video and adjust the eye position so it appears to be looking directly into the camera lens.
- Review the video to ensure the eye movements look natural.
Using 'Edit for Clarity' to Remove Irrelevant Content
- Click on the 'Underlord' icon in the right-side panel.
