Setting Up and Using Claude Co-work on Desktop

1. Subscribe to the Claude Pro plan ($20/month) to access the Co-work feature.
2. Download and install the Claude desktop app, available for Mac and Windows.
3. Open the Claude app and click on the 'Co-work' tab at the top of the window.
4. Click the folder icon or selection button within the Co-work menu.
5. Create a new folder on your computer (e.g., on your Desktop) and grant Claude access to manage that folder.
6. Add any reference files (documents, data, or images) to the folder if you want Claude to analyze existing information.
7. Click the model selection menu and choose 'Claude 3.5 Sonnet' or 'Opus' for handling complex tasks.
8. Click the '+' symbol to add extra functions like 'Skills', 'Connectors', or 'Plugins' if necessary.
9. Type or paste your marketing prompt into the Co-work chat box.
10. Press Enter and wait for Claude to generate files such as brand guidelines, competitive analyses, and presentations directly into your folder.
